Four Wings earn 2007 All-NYCBL honors

Four Geneva Red Wings were named to the post season All-NYCBL All-Star teams for the 2007 season. Kyle Bellamy (University of Miami) and Ashton Mowdy (Eastern Oklahoma) were named first team All-Stars, and Paul Bertuccini (LSU) and Andrew Damewood (University of Texas @ Tyler) were placed on the second team. Three of the four afore mentioned players were pitchers, which was a testament to the strong pitching the Wings had this season. The Wings pitching staff had five pitchers with ERA's under 2.00, a team ERA of 2.78, and opponents only batted a mere .217 against the entire staff. The entire Red Wing organization would like to congratulate the players named to the All-NYCBL teams, as well as every player on the 2007 team for an outstanding season.
