Wings drop heartbreaker

In front of its largest home crowd this season, the Red Wings fell to the Webster Yankees 7-2 in 13 innings. The game was tied at 2 from the 7th inning untila 5 run 13th sparked the Yankees to the win. Webster scored its third run of the bal game on a wild pitch, and then tacked on some extra runs on two out hits by Monty Marracco and Matt Francis. Jeremy Miller doubled and scored for the Red Wings, while Eric Schweiger tossed 7 innings of 1 run ball.
