Exhibition Rained Out in Elmira
The Wings made the trip to Elmira last evening, and waited around for the skies to clear, which never happened, The exhibition against the Pio’s was eventually called due to rain. The Wings wrap up the pre-season with a twin bill exhibition against the ECBL Rome Thunderbolts tonight at McDonough Park. First pitch in the first game is slated for 5:00, and the second game start is immediately following the first. This is the first game that can be heard live, on our new partner station, on 105.7 WHWS.
The Wings have an off day on Wednesday to prepare for the season opener against the Allegany County Nitros. The Nitros will make their first visit to McDonough Park on Thursday, with the first pitch at 7:30. Friday the Pio’s return to McDonough on Little League night. On Friday the 12th all Little Leaguer’s in uniform will receive free admission to the park, all other fans pay only $2 for any seat in the house. First pitch on Friday is at 7:30.
