SANTANA AND FREEMAN STAY HOT IN DEFEAT

BATAVIA, NY- The week-long road trip for the Red Wings continued with another stop in Batavia to take on the Muckdogs at Dwyer Stadium. This return marked their final stop at Dwyer this season.

Braden Freeman scored the only run for the Red Wings in the loss to the Muckdogs

Still searching for their first win of the year, the Red Wings started the scoring first with a RBI groundout from right fielder Elijiah Benton to bring home Braden Freeman. This, however, would be the lone run for the Red Wings on the night, who fell to the Muckdogs for the second time this season.

The Red Wings' offense was led yet again by Aiken Santana and Braden Freeman, who had 2 hits apiece. Freeman also added the only run for the Red Wings.

Tomorrow, the Red Wings travel to Jamestown to take on the Tarp Skunks for the first time this season, with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 pm.
