GENEVA RED WINGS ANNOUNCE 15 MORE PLAYERS ON 2025 ROSTER

GENEVA, NY- The Geneva Red Wings are excited to announce 15 more additions to their 2025 Summer roster. The Red Wings have plenty of fresh faces this season and a plethora of talent, including five high school seniors who will look to prove themselves as they begin their collegiate careers in the Fall.
Malachi Morgan is a freshman right-handed pitcher enrolling at Trinity College of Jacksonville in the Fall. Morgan, a native of Ormond Beach, FL, will bring a sneaky sidearm technique to the Red Wings bullpen this season. This season at Seabreeze High School, Morgan has appeared in 11 games and pitched a total of 12 innings. He holds a 3.50 ERA with 10 strikeouts and will look to make an impact at the college level.
Micah Sanders is a freshman left-handed pitcher enrolling at Erskine College in the Fall. Sanders is a native of Ormond Beach, FL, and will look to grow his game at the college level this Summer. This season for Spruce Creek High School, Sanders has appeared in 6 games and 6 innings with a total of 10 strikeouts.
Elijiah Benton is a freshman two-way player enrolling at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in the Fall. A native of Felton, DE, Benton has appeared in 7 games as a pitcher and 15 as a batter at Polytech High School. Benton has collected 13 hits, 9 RBIs, and scored 10 runs in those 15 games. Benton also has a 3.94 ERA and has 29 strikeouts across 16 innings pitched. Benton also has 1 save this season.
Anthony Barton is a freshman right-handed pitcher enrolling at Miles College in the Fall. The Port Orange, FL native has appeared in 2 games and 2.1 innings this season for Spruce Creek High School.
Smitty Washington IV is a freshman right-handed pitcher enrolling at NJIT this Fall. A native of Fort Worth, TX, Washington appeared in 6 games for Lake County Christian School in 2024. Across 26 innings, Washington collected 34 strikeouts, posting a 2.15 ERA. Washington also has 1 win from the 2024 season. Washington utilizes a powerful fastball and will hope to command the mound for the Red Wings.
John McGowan is a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Trinity University. The Bethesda, MD native appeared in 3 games and pitched 2.2 innings this season for Trinity.
Sam Fleming is a senior infielder at Stillman College. During his three seasons at Stillman, the Charlotte, NC native has played 80 games and racked up 93 hits, scoring 63 runs. Fleming has also stolen 12 bases and driven in 63 RBIs, while posting a career batting average of .342.
Zane Barron is a sophomore catcher from Daytona Beach, FL. Zane currently attends Hillsborough Community College, where he appeared in 9 games this season, recording 2 hits and scoring 3 runs.
Jack Turner is a junior utility player from Averett University. Turner hails from Haddon Heights, NJ. In two seasons at Averett, Turner has appeared in 15 games as a pitcher and 51 as a batter. In 14.2 innings pitched, Turner has 7 strikeouts and 2 wins. He has also scored 19 runs on 27 hits, with 24 RBIs.
Jordan Perry is a sophomore outfielder from St. John Fisher University. Hailing from Malone, NY, Perry appeared in 38 games for the Cardinals this season. Perry made his presence felt quickly this season, posting a .321 batting average on 50 hits. Perry also collected 6 stolen bases, drove in 48 RBIs, and scored 34 runs.
Collin Clark is a senior catcher from St. John Fisher University and joins the Red Wings from Pittsford, NY. Before St. John Fisher, Clark appeared in 68 games during his two seasons at Finger Lakes Community College. Clark racked up 63 hits and scored 37 runs, while stealing 8 bases and driving in 44 RBIs, and posting a .328 batting average for the Lakers.
Jules Conte is a senior infielder at Georgian Court University from Farmingdale, NJ. Conte has appeared in 4 games this season for Georgian Court. Before Georgian Court, Conte played at Brookdale Community College and Ocean County College. Conte appeared in 11 games at Brookdale, scoring 2 runs on 5 hits, while posting a .500 batting average. In 2022, Conte appeared in 3 games at Ocean County College.
Michael Sardou is a sophomore infielder from Monroe Community College. Coming from Rochester, NY, Sardou has played in 39 games, racking up 37 hits and 23 RBIs. Sardou has also stolen 8 bases and scored 30 runs, while posting a .349 batting average at MCC this season.
Cos Zeiser is a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Victor, NY. At Monroe Community College this season, Zeiser has appeared in 8 games, pitching 19.2 innings, and tallying 24 strikeouts. Zeiser also has 1 win on the season.
Parker Zeiser is a junior catcher from Victor, NY, and is attending Monroe Community College. Zeiser has appeared in 61 games across two seasons at MCC, driving in 48 RBIs on 53 hits. His career batting average is .312 for the Tribunes. Zeiser has also stolen 9 bases and scored 50 runs in his collegiate career.
The Red Wings open the 2025 Summer season on the road in Newark on June 3rd at 6:30 pm at Colburn Park. The Red Wings' first home game is June 4th against the Newark Pilots at 6:30 pm at McDonough Park.
