GENEVA RED WINGS ANNOUNCE FINAL 11 PLAYERS ON 2025 ROSTER

GENEVA, NY- The Geneva Red Wings are proud to announce their final signings for the 2025 Summer season. Under new manager Thomas Eaton and assistant coach Sean Ladd, the Red Wings will look to make a run at the PGCBL Playoffs this season.
Casey Burcroff is a junior infielder from Herkimer Community College. The Waterloo, NY native appeared in 5 games, tallying 2 hits, scoring 2 runs, and driving in 4 RBIs this season.
Ian Babey is a senior right-handed pitcher from Reston, VA, and is attending Ferrum College. Babey has appeared in 1 game for Ferrum this season. Before Ferrum, Babey appeared in 24 games during his two seasons at the Community College of Baltimore County Essex. Babey won 6 games, collected 56 strikeouts, and had 1 save during his two seasons. Babey pitched in 64.2 innings and had 2 complete games.
Dawson Thomas is a junior right-handed pitcher attending Allegheny College, from Espyville, PA. In two seasons at Allegheny, Thomas has appeared in 22 games and pitched 81 innings. Thomas has collected 8 wins, 1 save, and 1 complete game shutout. He has struck out 49 batters and posted a career ERA of 3.67.
Dylan Wolfson is a junior outfielder attending the University of Texas Permian Basin. Hailing from Bronx, NY, Wolfson appeared in 37 games this season at Herkimer Community College. In those 37 games, Wolfson tallied 34 hits and scored 47 runs, while driving in 30 RBIs and stealing 15 bases.
Kannon VanDuzer is a senior right-handed pitcher from SUNY Brockport. Joining the Red Wings from Sayre, PA, VanDuzer made 13 appearances at Tompkins Cortland Community College before his time at SUNY Brockport. VanDuzer pitched 46.1 innings and 1 complete game, tallying 28 strikeouts in two seasons with the Panthers.
Dylan Briggs is a sophomore outfielder from Montclair State University. Coming from Middletown, NJ, Briggs appeared in 20 games this season, racking up 5 hits and scoring 9 runs. Briggs also had 5 RBIs and stole 3 bases this season.
Preston Leech is a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Port Orange, FL, and is attending Trinity College of Jacksonville. This season, Leech appeared in 9 games, pitching 19 innings and striking out 20 batters.
Brock Raterman is a sophomore 1st baseman from Benedictine College. Raterman joins the Red Wings from St. Louis, MO. Raterman is one of the few lefties on the Red Wings roster this season.
Camden Rhude is a sophomore catcher from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The Saratoga Springs, NY native appeared in 5 games this season, scoring 2 runs on 2 hits.
Jake Short is a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Erskine College and Duncan, SC. Short pitched 0.1 innings in 1 appearance this season.
Matt Beuka is a junior infielder from Anna Maria College. The Naragansett, RI native has played in 48 games across his two seasons at Anna Maria. Beuka has scored 32 runs on 35 hits and stolen 9 bases, while driving in 18 RBIs during his two years.
The Red Wings open the 2025 Summer season on the road in Newark on June 3rd at 6:30 pm at Colburn Park. The Red Wings' first home game is June 4th against the Newark Pilots at 6:30 pm at McDonough Park.
