Starting pitcher Dawson Thomas once again showed out for the Red Wings. Thomas went 5 innings, with 4 strikeouts and only gave up 3 runs. With Thomas holding it down, it was up to the offense to get the team going, but the Red Wings had no answer for the dominant pitching of the Americans.

On offense, Elijiah Benton led the way, going 2-2 before being replaced by Braden Freeman, who would notch a hit and an RBI in his efforts off the bench. Casey Burcroff would also add a hit and an RBI to the Red Wings line.

The Red Wings' homestand continues with a matchup against the Auburn Doubledays on June 26th, with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 pm.
