SANTANA AND BANKS KEEP STREAKING, BUT WALKS HURT RED WINGS

AUBURN, NY- After being rained out at home yet again, the Red Wings traveled to Auburn to face the Doubledays.

Zach Banks stayed hot, going 3-5 with 3 runs scored and a triple.

The bats were hot for the Red Wings, as they came away with 12 hits, led by the likes of Zach Banks, Aiken Santana, and Braden Freeman. The Embry-Riddle duo of Banks and Santana combined for half of the Red Wings hits, each adding 3 to their season totals.

Freeman went 2-4, adding 1 of the Red Wings' 7 runs and helping drive in two with 2 RBIs. Banks and Santana would reach home safely a combined 4 times, and Santana would add 1 RBI. Catcher Tyler Skaggs would add 2 more RBIs on his single in the 3rd inning.

A handful of runs, however, would not be enough for the Red Wings, who managed to walk 13 batters and ultimately fall to the Doubledays.

The Red Wings are back at home tomorrow against the Newark Pilots for a 5:30 pm start.

Be sure to order your tickets today at GenevaRedWings.com or simply stop by the gate on gameday.
